... and a particular welcome if you are not yet an HPS member (we’ll tell you how to become one later), or if you are already an HPS member who has not yet joined one of our gatherings. A warm welcome awaits new members and visitors alike.
Our Members’ interests and experiences are as wide as the differing gardening opportunities in the Midlands - we have plenty to learn from, and to share with, each other. This is as great a benefit of active membership as is our winter programme of talks and summer programme of garden visits, coffee mornings and evening soirees.
Traditionally our winter meetings are held at Bentley Heath, south east of Birmingham. There is plenty of free car parking.
Although our winter meetings are based on an illustrated talk, there is a strong social component with refreshments, a members’ plants table, and a raffle.
At present, our meetings are free to HPS members. Non-members are welcome to a ’get to know us’ visit: just pay a small fee, and introduce yourself to a Committee member.
I look forward to seeing you.
